Al-Badr Mosque Carpet: Mosque of a Thousand Salawats
Floating Mosque, Pangkor Island
This video and interview were recorded six years after the carpet was installed; it's still in good condition, and many still can't believe its quality is like it was just installed last month.
Al Badr Mosque, the Thousand Salawats Mosque Completely built in October 2016. The name Seribu Selawat was derived from the carving of 1,000 selawat that adorns the mosque's walls. Al Badr Mosque was built over the sea, indirectly earning it the title of Pangkor Island's Floating Mosque. The carpet pattern uses floral elements with a combination of blue, yellow, and brown colors.
